A beach in central Monopoli

The Porta Vecchia beach is a tiny and lovely corner of sand.  Yes,  it’s crowdy during the summer but this doesn’t have to stop you from going there. Apart from the sand area, you have all the rocks around the beach ready for you to put on your towel and splash into the Adriatic Sea.  You will find the perfect temperature and a natural swimming pool for you to swim for hours. The beach is well protected from the wind by the city walls beside.   

From the beach you will be five minutes walk from the main attractions of the old city: the cathedral, the castle, the bar and restaurant area, etc.
