From Bari airport to Monopoli

Once your plane has landed at Bari airport, you have different options to reach Monopoli

Bari Centrale (Bari C.le) train station

1. You may take a taxi straight to Monopoli. Watch out!!! You will have to pay an amount of about 90€ that you will confirm with the taxi driver before departure. 
2. You may also take a taxi until Bari Centrale train station (aprox. 25€) and then take a "regionale" direct train to Monopoli which costs very little (about 3.20€) with a duration of 40 minutes. You also may find much faster trains like "Frecciargento" that do the journey in 20 minutes but the cost is much higher (13€).
3. Finally, you may do the whole process by train. In this case, look for the "Ferrotramviaria" station sign at the airport. It takes several minutes along the corridors to get to the "Ferrotramviaria" desk ticket where you must buy a ticket to Bari Cle. (Bari Centrale = Central Bari) of about 6€ per person. Once you are at Bari Centrale Ferrotramviaria station you must look for the subway that lead you strait to  Trenitalia station. And then take a "regionale" direct train to Monopoli which costs very little (about 3.20€) with a duration of 40 minutes. You also may find much faster trains like "Frecciargento" that do the journey in 20 minutes but the cost is much higher (13€).
